Default Beware when buying tyres from Tanvic

Have been looking around for tyres and Tanvic were the cheapest for the brand i was after (Maxxis) , i asked the guy to order them for me and went in yesterday to have them fitted.

Chap said he only had 2 but would look out the back to see if there was a mistake , he came back and said yes we do have 4.

Anyways come to pay the invoice and noticed it was £10 cheaper than quoted , i thought it was a bit fishy and didnt say anything as i was £10 up !

He hands me the invoice and they had fitted a totally different brand (Federal) , i pulled them up straight away i think he knew he had been caught out, tried to sell me these ones cheaper and i told him to put the originals back on, anyway he said he would knock £25 off the price i have been charged and order them in for me today and to keep the other on the car until tomorrow.

Had them fitted today and in the end was £35 cheaper than i should have paid, and £70 cheaper than the cheapest price i had found including internet prices

    Cheeky barstewards !

Oh and the Federals were blummin aweful, squealing on the roundabout when i give it some jipp and handled like a sausage roll, these Maxxis are totally different a hell of alot better and no squealing on the roundabouts when booting it
