sooo annoyed....

Have been meaning to change the oil on my car for the past 2 weeks now got all the stuff oil and oil filter along with some new tools got out there put the torx nut in there and turn, and wouldnt you no it the crappy screw sheared off and now i cant do anything with it now being rounded out, has anyone got any ideas of what i can do to help thanks

First get a new sump plug. You could try carefully using a cold chisel on it I have done this in the past.

Did you use the correct sized torx bit?

Some people think it's a T40, but it's actually T45

yeah i trhought it was a t40 but guess im wrong ill need to buy a t45 to do it then. thanks for that bit of info

i welded a nut to mine then left it to cool down then just undone the nut
