I've hand painted a couple of cars in my early days. In fact one would see a lot of hand painted cars on the roads, and I mean some roughly painted ones. I remember spraying a Ford Anglia with one of those cheapo all in one sprayers similar to what they use in gardens.
It gave a fantasic hamerite orang peel finish. Took me six months to TCut the paintwork.

Does it really matter, I'm sure that car is some young mans pride and joy, I notice his allows look nice and clean. He probably thinks the world of it, and as long as it gets safely from A to B thats all that matters.

At least he is having a try, better than seeing it all rusted, looks a better car than my first motor, a Austin A30 van painted with what looked like gas-tar.
