Wink dmf and poor engine sound and performance

hello, just to let you know i was getting a engine knock, and poor rough idle, and poor performace and the engine sounded like a tractor engine, on reading several posts i decided to get my dmf and clutch changed as i do nearly 50,000 miles a year and need the car in tip top condition,
the first garage quoted £1800 for both, so i phoned another vauxhall garage and they quoted 1400 pounds for my DMF, clutch and cam belt and cambelt kit, i snapped there hands of and when the car cam back, it sounded like a new engine, felt like a new engine and the car got it's kick back, its a 150 1.9cdti engine and it had gone really slugish, feels great now, unsure if the price was any good, i felt really please though to get all three done, so make sure you haggle with them

Considering the some people have been quoted £1500 alone for the dmf, thats no bad.

would not have minded the 1400 pounds, but a week later the starter motor went
    that was another 400 pounds
