    Default Which Windscreen (Replacement)

I got a very large crack in my windscreen today and am getting it replaced.
I was wondering whether to get the one for the rain sensors, which I can then add the extras myself at a later date.
Does anyone know if there will be any problems with this?

    Thanks

Just have a word with the people doing the replacement, after all it could have been iftted if the options box was ticked. What about a heat reflective one too
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

If you're using someone like Autoglass or RAC windscreens, then I don't think they'll play ball.

They have absoloutly no way of telling until they see the car which screen you have, when you ring they will ask if its got a rain sensor or just a plain screen, just say it has and they will fit whatever you order, the guy fitting it wont be bothered its no more work for him to fit one with a sensor. Used to get this all the time when i worked for national windscreens, they dont care.

when you call either ya insurance or the windscreen company to report it
then tell them it has the rain sensor as if you dont then they will just bring
the std windscreen and when they do arrive to fit it then you cant exactly
tell them to fit the one with rain sensor because they just wont have it on
the van at the time so best time to tell them is when you call them to
    arrange it to be replaced.

when they do arrive to fit ya rain sensor windscreen the fitter might notice
you aintr got rain sensor so then tell the fitter you wanted this one fitted
thats why you told them it has rain sensor but they wont be bothered wot
they fit as ling as they have done the job.

you could always be more cheeky and ask them to fit the heat reflective
windscreen aswell with rain sensor which is better again.

    I can't say I've ever seen a heat reflective screen for a c , they had em on b's though .

If you decided not to go along the insurance path , I have got a screen with top tint and sensor bracket for sale , good condition , but it would have to be a courier job.
