    hi everyone i joined a few days ago and told you about my gearbox problem i have a signum 20 turbo with 11k on clock 18 months old just thought i would let you know of my experience so far i first told dealer of problem who was helpfull said it needed a new box and was off the road for aweek got it back still there was crunch in 2nd and thrd waited another week before dealer could book in again told it needed a new clutch only take 1-2 days they said then igot phone call from dealer needed a flywheel but none in country would be off the road for 7-10 days in the end got it back in 7 great at last well not great as the gearbox still crunches it gets worse dealer who have tried hard i must say said they would have to get vauxhall tec out to see the car at this point i phoned customer care sorry i ment customers we dont care team a manager phoned me back the next day left his name and number but when i phoned it it went through to cust care in budapest said he was the only person who could deal with it but would send him message to phone me well i phoned four or five times and i still havent spoke to him next day spoke to some one else they keep saying sorry but have done --- all about it finally spoke to dealer today said tec cant come over for another week and i need to go out in car with him so half days pay lost for me i am sorry to bore you all but am i justified in being rather pi--ed off as this all started over 5-6 weeks ago wat is the point of customer car e do they actually do anything i seem to have to do it all myself in the end anyway please let me know yor thoughts on this great site by the way rather adictiv

    Sounds like a typical customer ( un) services response..who said global outsourcing doesn't work..

    At least the dealer is on your side..it'll just be a paitence thing unfortunatly..

    Tell me about it. Ive been driving around with a broken road spring (and not 'really' road worthy) for over 3 weeks now as the bl00dy things are on back order!

    Will be calling the dealer on Monday again. Especially as I had the car on the ramp at work this afternoon (1st time since it happened) and was not at all happy with what I saw!
