Default 2.0 DTI (Y20DTH) Crank Pulley Problem

    Hello all,
I have the common problem of the lower crank pulley splitting (the rubber in the middle splitting and falling off) ... I hope it's the right part I'm talking about! (It's the pulley at the very bottom - part GM 09128177 69)
I found the below on eBay, which is a different part (all metal).
I emailed the guy, he said this is the correct part.
Due to the above, and the part was faulty, it was replaced with this part

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

My engine is mentioned, but I noticed yesterday that the parts were different depending on when in 2004 the car was made (mine was June 2004).

Could anybody spread some light on this?
Is this correct what I have been told?

    Thanks for the help.
    Anthony

Crankshaft absorber pulley. I`m sure that it will fit fine. Its the same with the 1.9cdti they started to change from big rubber centre to only a small amount of rubber in the centre. I buy a lot of parts from the same Guys and have never had a wrong part. Recommended.
