The housing , or the actual sensor itself ?
The sensor just unclips from the metal bracket on the screen , but the actual fitting bracket is bonded to the screen and won't come off.

Well that's a new one on me ken , in the 7 years I've been fitting screens

What you can see from the outside is the gel pad of the sensor , the cover comes off inside , splits in 2 pieces , then the sensor is held on by 2 metal retaining springs , when you have popped these off , just prize the sensor away from the glass bracket with a small terminal driver.
