CDR 2005 question & help please.

Hi all.

I did a search on here first but came up with nothing so I'm hoping you can help me.

The LCD display in the centre of the dash is saying 'PANEL' when the radio is switched on. However, there's nothing at all coming from the radio. It powers up and lights up and you can also here the CD inside start spinning but then nothing. No response from any button, CD won't eject etc. When you switch radio off it then resorts back to the time, date and temprature as standard.

Any help would be appreciated fellas.

Only guessing but would it not need a code... I know some come up with some right strange messages when all it needs is a code - not even sure if the 2005 has a code (I suppose I should having one though

).

Thanks for the replies.

Slightly confused why this has happened though as there's been no disconnection of the battery or the battery going flat. It was working fine until last week and it just decided to pack in.
