Rear Brakes

I just bought some new discs and pads for the Veccy but want to make sure i have the right ones lol

The discs are solid 280mm and the pads have a metal spring type clip in the middle right at the top of the pad. I heard there are 2 types - which are right for the 1.9 CDTi 150??

It's a 2004 1.9 CDTi 150 Auto Life - with ABS

Your disks need to be 279mm - so I'd say you've got the right ones and are just a mill out on the measuring. The pads sound like the right ones as well - the newer design with the anti-rattle clip. The older one had a hinged clip on the back that was supposed to clip over the edge of the piston.

Cheers Dan! They were only listing the ones i got, where as a few other places were listing the other type of pad lol

Easy formula:

285mm front disks / 279mm solid rear disks: All 4 cylinder Vectra-C's and Signums (petrol or diesel) except the Z20NET.

302mm front disks / 292mm vented rear disks: All 2.0T's and the early GSi's.

314mm front disks / 292mm vented rear disks: All but the early GSi's and all the other V6's (including the 3.0 diesel) except the VXR

345mm front disks / 292mm vented rear disks: All the VXR's.

Unless of course you've been modding........
