    Default CD70 nav...gps not working??

    Hi as above...i`ve just installed the cd70 as a replacement for the cd30..Unfortunatly still waiting for the rgb cable from vauxhall...radio working ok as is the cd player..So wot i`m really asking is that do i need the rgb cable plugged in for the gps to start working or is the rgb cable only there for the maps to be shown..here`s the fakra gps that i bought from ebay..

    I'm sure that's got something to do with it mate. The CD70 Navi Vectras & Signums have different aireals fitted...

    I`m hopeing that all thats needed is the rgb cable..If not then i may have a cd70 for sale...

    As for the GPS, try the radio in diagnostic mode, it should show the GPS info on one of the pages. Can't remember how to put it into diagnostic mode though and a quick search of this site has not thrown it up. Someone will be able to tell you.
