Flip Key
Phoned my local stealer about a flippy key today, quoting £37.90 for key, £30.00 for programming, so altogether £67.90+VAT=about £80 YEAH RIGHT lol I'd love one but not that badly.....
Oh yes and if I don't have the car pass (which luckily I do anyway) it'd be another £20 on top of that!
Times like this I wish I 'knew people' lol...
I know people but standard charge for Vx programming at my dealer is £15.
I got one, it's looks outweight it's functionality, the normal key goes in and out, the flip you have to mess about flipping it out, then it feels flimsy when you start the car, and then ya gotta put it away afterwards, call me lazy but I'm using the old one again, bring on them holey pockets again, lol

That was Arnold Clark Linwood, usually they're ok pricewise for parts. I've yet to phone Lindsay's Vx in Dumbuck they might be cheaper, thats where I get all my work and servicing etc done anyway, I just happened to be over that way the other day.Originally Posted by gil16e

Flooping heck!!! I ordered my flippy key yesterday and I've just got a phone call from my dealer to say that it's arrived!!Talk about speedy!!!

Different cars have different frequencies. So some keys are in and some arn't.
Mine isn't here yet either
