If i put an aftermarket in I know the display will lose the radio, cd ec but will the trip computer still work

Should do mate. There are some makes of aftermarket Hu that you can get them to still display on the screen, I know Sony was one of then, its just an Autoleads lead.

yes it will mate, as will the temp , mpg etc
