    Default Sri springs on an sxi 1.8?

    Would this be an option? my front spring is broken and i wondered if the sri springs would fit allround as they are lower or to get some 30/35mm lowering kit, any suggestions, thanks

    I have a 2005 SXi and it already comes with the same suspension set-up as the SRi. Not sure if the earlier SXi had the same suspension set-ups as standard.

    i think most on here will recommend an aftermarket kit if you are replacing anyway...

    SRi one's will fit no problem,but if you go for lower than 30 mm then you'll have to change the shocks too,hth.........

    Mmm, just been looking on LMF and:-

    Spax = £105 + £10 shipping 30mm front & rear

    Apex = £110 + £10 shipping 35mm front & rear {rrp £123= 10%discount}

    Supersport = £105+ £10 shipping 35mm front 30mm rear

    car is on 17ins alloys, why are S/sport different heights front & rear and is this an advantage? HELP PLEASE, the prices are good but what should I choose?

    The veccy and signum ride higher at the front than the back,so yes it would be better,i've fitted 45mm/40mm Pi springs and it now sits nice and level,i'd go for the Pi 30mm lowering springs m8,less than £100 delivered...............
