    Default waiting on aa

    well my first time i put petrol in my tank and now im waiting on the aa commi g to take it out, really peed off

    i know mate im gutted its the cost im worried about its not like ive ran my engine or anything! i thought it was vpower diesel going in and relised at 12pound

    £12 of petrol in a diesel car? Theat wouldn't be "fine" if you ran the engine....a bit of diesel in a petrol car is a different matter. The AA charge either £184 or £230 depending on whether you're a member or not, but that's a fraction of the price of having the fuel rail etc etc replaced.

    Mate put £20 in his Chrysler and it was fine. As ive always been lead to believe diesel has a lower vicosity resulting in it blocking things due to it not being heated prior to combustion.

    Lightbulb

    heres what ive done, aa guy wanted 184 plus10 for fuel. i cant afford th so i filled it to the brim with diesel drove for 14miles and put in a full redex additive. when the fuel goes to the first red from full ill top it up to the brim again and keep diluting it. going to isle of skye tommorow so wish me luk
