i got the brakers fitted and there very good![]()
great bulbs. first time i had em in and along a dark road with full beam on. had to dip em cos i was dazzled by a road sign reflecting em back. i got em in dipped and main.
Got them fitted in mine. Shop round as prices vary quite significantly.
night breakers are rubbish you will never be completely happy with your vecs headlights until you have bought some hids.
Yer, was thinking bout HID's but have heard some horror stories lol Would like them.
I had Chrisgettings behind me a little while ago early, early in the morning and he turned his on and they were like a lightning bolt lol Might I add his car was rapid too !!
The breakers are £11 on ebay, fair price ?
Ok, after the last post Ive been on ebay !!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ultra-HID-Xeno...3A1%7C294%3A50
These are on there at what I think is quite a good price, it says no OBC error or flickering, etc - Is this no 'on-board comp' error ?
Also, are they really plug and play ? Ive always messed with wires, etc on my older cars with confidence but my new Vec scares me !!!![]()
Should have gone to www.specsavers.co.uk
My nightbreakers are absolutely fine
see if you can do a mini meet with robbie69 he lives near you, he has hids fitted and do a photo shoot to compare the difference between his and your night breakersand we will settle this, i tryed all of the market leaders in headlight bulbs and spent a small fortune on them, in the end i wish i had just gone straight for the hids. enough said.
I don't know about Night Breakers but I have had the Philips 'Xtreme' (80% brighter) since last year before winter. They are fine, better than the std, but others have said, HID's are required for anything better than that.
May do HID's myself later in yr before winter but I'm not sure which kit. There's the Ultra as per your link but also the MTech that are more expensive. Having no experience & not knowing anyone with HID's, are the MTechs worth the extra or is it just go with the Ultra set?
