Exclamation advice on styling please - newbie

    HI
    I have just purchased a 2008 57 plate 1.9cdti sri 150 in metro blue

I have been looking at adding the VXR kit 1 but my local vauxhall want £1400 inc fitting and painting.

I have looked at DTM styling and the JDL body kits.
Do i need the 2006 sri bodykit which comes with side skirts, front spoiler and rear bumper extension pack. it's quite cheap £300 ish and states that it can just go on top of original trim etc.

Is this right? Do they fit? Are they trustworthy?

Any advice or ideas will be appreciated.
    Many thanks
    Emma

Thats a good price for painting and fitting m8,think a few years ago it was over 2k,the JDL kits are ok but not as good as Irmscher or the Vauxhall kits m8,personally i went for the a combination of irmscher and vxr,but its down to personall taste at the end of the day, good luck with your choice's..........

If it were me i'd save my money and go for the vauxhall kit, the JDL kit isn't really my cup of tea. £1400 painted and fitted isn't bad TBH. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I personally would go with the VXR kit

It's not a bad price to be fair, I think their painting is usually pretty good too, unlike some that i've had done elsewhere

I sourced all of my bits from various places, front spoiler, back bumper spoiler and boot spoiler and paid just over £500 fitted and painted. Not too bothered about the side skirts, if I saw some for the right kind of money I might.

Ah the VXR lip spoiler is MUCH bigger than standard! Chrome surrounds are off a signum and easily ordered from your local dealer.
