Default BSR remap - BHP to Speed Change ?

I have been looking at BSR remaps for my 2008 Vectra C 2.0T Estate and was wondering if anyone knew what difference an extra 45 bhp make in straight line speed at the top end?

I have spent the last month driving from the North of Denmark to Hamburg Airport in Germany once a week and have been letting it rip on the Autobahn and so far it tops out at around 230 km/h or 143 MPH. I keep getting passed even at these speeds on the Autobahn occasionally normally by BMW 330d or Audi's and feel the need for more speed ...

I know there will be a few 'tut tuts' about the speed but this is perfectly legal on the Autobahn unless you crash and I have been doing these high speeds long enough to know the limits of my driving, the car and the other road users.

    TIA

The re-maps are more about acceleration and mid range pull. You may see a few more mph, but don't expect much more.

My old Zafira GSi Turbo (OPC) had a top speed of 137mph in standard form, but when it ran at about 270bhp, I had it timed at 149.6mph at Bruntingthorpe proving ground.

I don't know if you would go any faster (never tried myself), but with BSR ppc you can change the limiter speed to 270 km/h (167 mph) but i do think you would need some serious horse power to get there, not just stage 1, i might be wrong though

I have heard that Stage 1 may get you to 150mph. Not that I will ever find out. The enhanced midrange performance that a remap gives you is what really matters, not top speed or indeed 0-60 time.
