    i have a 05 1.9 cdti veccy and i want to know if a facelift sri/vxr steering wheel will fit my car? my wheel has the scroll wheel type audio adjusters
    VXR IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR THRILLS !

    Should do although make sure you get the airbag too - diifferent size.

    Wheel will fit, you'll need the facelift airbag though, as said above. Also, the electrical connections inside for the horn and audio controls will not be a straight fit, as the plugs and internal wiring connections are different. Worth it for me though...

    Chris I have looked at this also..

    As above - you will certainly need the airbag as the prefacelift full canbus airbag is slightly different shape... So too are the wheel control plastics so you will need them also - basically a full wheel with controls and airbag.

    Then you will need to 'butcher' the wiring to make it fit... I have a 'spare' Vx wheel with the thumb indents etc (like I think P has on her Zafera?) - but there is no way I can get it on as I dont have the airbag etc etc...

    i dont suppose you did a how too on this? the wiring for the facelift wheel is totally different for the airbag etc help lol

    ive got the new wheel but not the airbag trying to find one is a bit of a nightmare and the wiring is completely different also
