    Default Chrome Fog Surrounds

Can anyone help please. Do the chrome fog light surrounds for a facelift vectra just clip in or do you have to remove the lights?

Easiest way is to take the bumper off.... but i done mine without removing it,

Pull the fog lights from the outside edges, the clips will break but its only where the melted ones are , when putting the new ones in, put them in vice versa, if you know whant i mean , if not i will stick a pic up with instructions

Just clip on mate, they are part of the black surround which just clips around the fog light.

There is a 'how to' on this which states you need to take off the front bumper, this is not necassary. All i had to do was carefully unclip the existing surrounds prising out the original clips using two slotted screwdrivers.

    Hope this helps.

Cant see how taking off and refitting the bumper can be easier than the 5 to 10 minutes each side that this took me to do by prising out the clips. After the top line of clips are out you can just grab the surrounds and pull them straight off.

I would like to just say that although this method worked no problem at all for me, i am only offering advise and could not be held responsible for any problems, if any, that arise when attempting to release the clips with screwdrivers.

In comparison to the potential damage and cost involved if things go wrong while attempting to remove or refit the front bumper i know what route i would go down.

    Up to you mate.

Gotta agree, Bumper removal? Na!! Drill a hole in the plastic surround, thread in a length of washing line, tie a knot in one end and a good hard tug will see it off, then just push the new surround in place, ditto the other side, took me 5 mins per side and looks pukka
