    Default Vectra Elite '54' Reg 2004 Model

    Hi,

    I've got a few more questions.... please:

    What is the service interval for 2004 '54' Reg 1.9CDTi [150bhp] Car?

    I was quoted £145 from Vx Dealer for 1st Service (replacement oil not long life oil but Castrol Magnetec) .... is this fair?

    Why did Vx chnage the rear wiper to a flat blade wiper? could mine get changed under warranty because it is quite loud when driving?

    Are there a list of commoon warranty fixes for Vectra Elite 1.9 CDTi [150bhp]

    Hello m8.

    Not sure about the answers to all your questions, but it's possible that the wiper got replaced because the original (early) ones didn't / don't clear the rear window very effectively because they were so light.

    I've heard that the plastic ones can be replaced with a metal equivalent under warranty - maybe it was just a one off though!?

    service interval 30K or 2 years according to the manual.

    Price for oil change, ring a few other dealers up and see what they charge.

    Wiper, no they wont change wipers under warranty. Thats wear and tear. Unless yours has only just been collected, then maybe the NetQ may sort it as it should have been checked as part of the inspection.

    Common faults, theres a whole forum specifically for common faults. Do some exploring on the site and you'll find answers to nearly every question you have.

    mines same as yours except SRi and either flex service(with key out press reset button in dash and flex service interval wiil be displayed on left hand side) or 30k or 2yrs which ever comes first.

    all models from 2005 are now 1yr or 20k spoke to dealer to check and was most surprised at the helpfullness given.
