    Default now getting peed of!

    hi guys,
as most of you know im running an eco2 box on setting 12 as the car wont let me choose anything else! well last night for the first time i done a high speed run and the engine management light came and power dropped..
i turned the engine off and back on the light is now on ignition but away while running, i was told from a garage it was an old erg fault.

well later on that night after flooring it in 3rd gear at about 3000rpm on comes the light again and power drops..?
i bought some stuff to read the error codes so i hope its acurate..

heres what its come up with-
    p0125
    p0196
    p0234
    p0299
    p0357
    p0443
    p0455
    p0736
    p1143
    u0001
    u0101
    u0106
bare in mind ive had the car a month and the month warranty runs out tomorrow so gonna get some aftermarket warranty.

    what do you guys think?

Tuning boxes can be a bit hit & miss sometimes with the CDTi, but you really need to see if your car as standard has any problems on its own, without bringing the box into the equation.

To be honest, you best (and safer) bet is to get a remap, decent remaps can be had for £300 so isn't much different to one of the ECO boxes and is much safer and better mpg too.

a remap at £300? from where! i always thought it was around £500, i prefer a remap tbh the last thing i can afford is problems. im gonna keep the box off just now, im gonna go out in a min and check everything over make sure iv =e no split hoses or anything, make sure the egr valve is on propperly as it sais theirs an exhaust leak..

Evolution Chips are a very reputable dealer (Motorsports Developments) and have done many CDTi Vectras with excellent results.

    The nearest for you is.....

    Seditas Cars (28.99 miles away)
    3 St Quivox Road
    Prestwick
    KA9 1LJ

    and...

    Top Gear (60.50 miles away)
    DumFries
    DG1 1NF

Have a look at their website..... http://www.evolutionchips.co.uk/

The prices do vary from dealer to dealer, but only from £299 - £349.
