Springs?

Heya everyone,

im sure that this has been asked before but id like to just make sure.

If i went and bought some eibach springs tommorow would they be okay on standard shocks (as in non-SRi) ones. also any problems arise from doing this?

yes they should be fine, i had eibach's fitted to my standard shocks but unfortunately due to hitting a badger at 80mph i knackered one of the front shocks and the other soon followed...now have 3.0 v6 shocks fitted on the front

you should bo ok on standard shocks with a 30mm drop any more than that and it's best to change shocks as well

even though 30mm on standard shocks is acceptable you will still be putting more of a strain on them and they may wear out quicker

if you can afford it change both shocks and springs at the same time
