    Default Air con noise.

As above when turning the air con on I get a a squeeling noise which stops after about 3-4 mins. Does this just mean it needs a regas or is there something a little more sinister and expensive?

Ah, the good old DIY death can that promises so much, but offers very little.

well i have owned my car since august 08 and my air con has not worked at all, not even enough gas to turn the air con pump on.

So saturday i went out to my car with the gas, read the instructions and followed them by starting the car, putting air con on full (even though it actually doesnt come on)
    located the valve i needed
    connected the hose
checked the supplied gauge (obvioulsy it read empty)
    turnt can up side down
    pressed button while shaking can
stopping every few seconds to check gauge

as soon as the first bit of pressurised gas hit the system the pump came straight on!!

    mine took the whole can.

went and sat in my car and as if by magic freezing cold air!!

I know of 4/5 friends who have used it previously with same effects.

    Can of death????

Maybe if i freeze to death!!

as far as im concerned it has done exactly what it says on the tin.

Also i think i have prob done a better job than quick fit would do for £40, im convinced of this as my car still starts, moves and so on....

Keep the guage for future use, it'll come in handy in years to come when determining if you need to regas or not.
