    Default Suspension upgrades including fitting

I have recently had front springs that failed the MOT on my Vectra 1.9 CDTi SRi, masterfit replaced them but the front of the car looked higher than the back and it didn't feel the same, so took the car back for them to say they hadn't fitted Vauxhall springs, so in the end they did.

However I have lost confidence in Vauxhall springs, I want to change all my springs in the next 6 months and lower it a little bit using aftermarket springs. Anyone got any prices for people who would do it with parts included?

What else should I replace at the same time? I heard people saying drop links?

What about shocks? Are the standard ones any good. Am not an expert with upgrades so the help would be much appreciated. Oh I live near Chester if that helps?

erm lmfvauxhall have numerous sets of springs, eibach, apex and spax ones....they range from £89 to £170 depending on which one you buy....and with the fitting, you can do it yourself for free or take it to a garage and be looking at being charged around £150ish for having them done....as long as you don't drop the car any more than 35-40mm your standard sri shocks should be fine...any more than that and i suggest shorter shocks....or coilovers

I have just changed mine to the Eibach pro kit from LMF £172 delivered and I had a member on here Glynn fit them who done a cracking job
These only took him 50 minutes to fit and he charged me a very good price
PM him for a price but it looks like you may not want to travel from wales to where Glynn is my car is below.
The car is still on the standard SRI shocks and the ride is very comfortable still with the bonus of fantastic handling compared to the standard car

A mate has offered to do them for me. I'm going to get Eibachs. Which spring would I need for the 1.9 CDTi SRi? Also, when people say it will lower it 35mm is that on standard cars? With the SRi already 20mm lower than standard would 35mm lowering springs lower it by 15mm rather than 35mm?
