Have recently bought a 2003 Signum 3.2 Elite, which i am loving. Bought from auction so waited a little bit to see if it was hiding anything nasty before doing anything to it. It seems to be un-abused so for starters wanted to put a Handsfree kit in.
Did some research, and there was surprisingly few options. In the end selected a Nokia CK-300. This proved pretty simple to install, was lucky to have a Siggy with the prewired VDA(?) plug. Only tricky bit was removal of the ashtray.
Good point about it
First off it works really well with my Nokia phone. I can hear people that phone me, they can hear me. Which is kind of the whole point.
Plus it has a charging lead for my phone the new-ish slim round plug that Nokia has moved to over the last couple of years.
The remote is a nice tactile piece of kit.
If you have a Series 60 Symbian phone (my Nokia E51 is such a thing) then it comes with special software that makes your phone screen much easier to use. Big fonts, simplified menus. All really clever.
Does come with a 3.5mm lead for iPods and the like but my CCR 2006 does not have a aux in point so it is wasted. To be fair a complaint about the CCR 2006 rather than the Nokia CK-300.
Though you can fit the microphone in the panel with the ultrasonic alarm sensors, sound quality is poor so you have to place it outside.
Will attempt to take pictures of the install and post them.
