Why is it that the last 2 saturdays I've washed the estate the next day it's like it's never been washed.
It's covered in sandy spots....after it's rained
Is anyone else experiencing this..
****** annoying

Yeah, past two mornings woke up to a car covered in sand...
Its one of those Saharan sand storm things....
Did this to me as well. The way to get over it is to rinse the car well and go over it with a quick detailer spray and buff off. Gives a nice finish for 5 mins work.
I am having the same trouble and I am in Yorkshire, wonder if a Norf fing?
the weather has brewed up down over africa and been blown up ere so yes the sand from there has landed on our cars.
Thanks guys,
I feel better knowing I'm not on my own here....
Scottex, which detailer spray do you use?
Sahara Sand is also in Tropical Walsall.
Hope my sand hasnt got bird flu, after its journey...
We've also had it here in "Beautiful" Bromsgrove.
I guess it's my fault, I washed and waxed my car twice in a week - just asking for a dust cloud after that!
I use Poorboys Spray & Gloss on the paint, which is good and use Megs Quick Deatailer for spritzing my drying towel and for spit shining. I've heard good reports about Clearkote Quick Shine.Originally Posted by greeningr
