    Default 2nd gear gutless

    hi

having been driving my 1.9 cdti 120 for a few days Im very happy overall

however 2nd gear seems to take forever to wind up

the engine runs great Ive checked hoses etc

    I cant see anything wrong

    is this normal

it comes on most power at 3krpm but this is no good when your pulling away from 1.5krpm

all the other gears seem to get power up earlier

I dont feel I could rely on it lets say if I came out of a junction slow

    any pointers?

    ta chris

Is it clunky and slow?... Any EML flashing/on etc

First thought would have been EGR Valve but that would be noticible in 1st gear too... before 3krpm will be your turbo kicking in to help...

Or you could just flat change into 2nd but your clutch wont last long.

Have you tried the air box mod and a panel filter. That will help a little with the low end speeds and revvs etc...

I get it in my 150 sometimes, it really scares me when I pull out a junction and it just won't go then all of a sudden it rips my face off . Hopefully a remap will sort some of the turbo lag out (hopefully )
