    Default Rear seats not secure

Not really noticed before but i had to brake hard today and both rear seat backrests come shooting forward. When i got home and pushed back into place they didn't seem to secure and lock in place, tried everything obvious. I'm i overlooking something? any advise?

Have a good look at them mate cos thats not good, maybe the lock mechanism is on the P!ss, give them a firm shove into place, mine have a red 'witness mark' that shows if there not locked in, have a look.

Taking mine in on warranty for the same problem mate. They do lock but really need to be slammed back.

Cheers mate, the red flag bit is staying up regardless. I've tried pushing down on this while shoving the seats in place but no joy. I may just have to be a bit more forceful.

My LH side one needs one hell of a slam to secure it, but it does close.

Does anybody know of an adjustment?

Not directly helpful, but you will not be able to pull the centre seatbelt if the seat is not latched correctly.

The rear seats (and the rear hatch) need a good slam to get them to lock properly. Weird design really. Its only a matter of slams before something breaks or starts to rattle as a consequence.

Mine also needed a good slam to click into place, as they used to rattle about with the red tell tale showing
