    Default Vectra boot lock issues

Hi, does anyone else have this problem - is it normal on the vec?

The boot locks itself once the car is driven, so when you get out its locked, even if all the doors are unlocked. locking and unlocking the doors using the door switch doesn't do anything - you have to close the car up again and lock and unlock using the key. Is becoming annoying when you're trying to put something in or get something from the boot and the key is in the ignition etc!

Car has autolock on so when you pull away the doors all lock, and unlock when you take the key out of the ignition. could this be it? does anyone else has autolock on and have problems with the boot?

Also, have seen a 3 button vx key on fleebay that has boot release button - would this work with my car as it is two button - thought it might help to pop the boot rather than close doors and lock/unlock?

    Cheers

Mine has the left lower button to lock and unlock, and the right to unlock the boot. I did get a second switch panel the same as yours, and when I plugged it in it still worked the same as my old one. You can unlock the boot from the passenger door as well on mine.

Mine is the same as Rushy's, although the passenger switch with the lock and boot release was standard fit.
