Steering problem happened again today that's twice in a month surely it cant be right .I decided to ring a different dealer to get a second opinion.
They said get it booked in And get it checked on the computer.
Different Dealers , Different results glad I rang now.

    Default Pesky Steering

Had the same problem on start up. Don't think my Vauxhall dealer knew about the low voltage thing lol. Had a steering position sensor changed and the ECU reset so far. Stupid thing did it again the other day so think I'll be asking for a new power steering pump. Got a year and a half of warranty left and I intend to use it lol.

Thankfully I didn't need a courtesy car. One of the few perks to being stuck in the middle east is plenty of time for my car to get fixed while I'm not using it. Missus is none too happy mind you lol. Was only in for a few hours on both visits though so not too bad at all

Yep - It's happened to me - once and once only, about 14k ago. Switch off, fire up again, and all was well. Never seen it since.......(Touching wood)
