    I would just take off the bottom hose from the radiator, If you are draining the antifreeze. That is what I normaly do.

    Thats what i was gonna do Ed, but sean 2.2 direct cleaned his EGR valve (What am going to do) and advised there is a drain plug somewhere to make it easier ,

    Dont want the stuff all over the drive or she will kill me.......... she doesnt know yet am going to use her basin to catch the oil

    Sorry did not post pics up were the drain plug is mate have not had time if your facing the car from the front its on the left hand side at near the bottom of the radiator its a little round thing that needs to be twisted and pulled does this help mate?

    It will mate, cheers will have a look , just off to get all the gear so later this board will be un-indated with questions, nothing ever goes right when i do these things
