If you buy new ones I believe that the dealer can tech 2 the new milage to the clocks as long as its done fairly soon after fitting. I think you only have so many miles in which to get them altered before they lock.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

You can get them changed but it costs quite alot, it's not as simple as the dealer plugging in a box, pretty sure it was something to do with the ecu? Could be wrong, I did read another thread on the same subject earlier this year.

The mileage is actually stored in 2 places ECU iirc and speedo,a mileage correction company can do both chips for £110 if you buy new clocks that have below 50 miles on them (i think its 50)then stealers can adjust them.
But the mileage is stored in 2 places

I knew it was something like that, it's not a simple or cheap job that's for sure.
