Default Cleaning Air Flow Meter 3.2 - Any Tips / Advice?

I have decided to clean the Bosch MAF on the Vectra in a bid to sort out my erratic varying idle speed issue

Any tips appreciated - Method and what to use etc.

    Cheers

    TONY

Have you cleaned the TB mate. I have no real knowledge on the Z32SE but on the Z22SE an erratic idle usually points towards a dirty TB. Free to clean mate, nothing to lose.

Me and Andy Discoverd last night that his erratic ideling was because of his Maf.

We unplugged it first and right away it ran at 600 revs when we plugged it back in it went up again

So are you replacing it or did a clean do the trick?
