Can someone please tell me why these tyres get such bad press on this forum?
I need to replace all 4 of mine on my vectra estate and am wondering if I should try something different to the NCT's because of the bad press.
Thanks
Michael

i have these on my gsi and have never had a problem
I also never had any problem with mine, but at £150 each the 225/45R17 is much cheaper!
The only main issue has been the batch from Slovenia which suffered faults, cracking, and catastrophic failure during use
The ones from Germany are OK, but still suffer the same issues but not to the same degree
Quite a few people seem to rate Kumho KU31 on this site, they do seem to get good reviews but on doing some more research it does says these are summer tyres and not much good for winter time. Guess this is where the NCT's are better.......or not?????
Many owners had bad examples of the Goodyears, i was one of them (something to do with dot codes on a batch of em).
They are not worth the money trust me.
I dont think they are that bad really.
try this link. there is talk on here about estate tyres.
