number plate bulbs

Now I know that our cars hate leds and they throw a hissy if you go anywhere near them but, does that include the rear number plate bulbs too.

not sure but get the mtec 501's and they are white and as bright as LED's

im led to believe that the number plate lights are not linked to anything so wont throw up a warning. Ive seen pics on here of other users using the leds but IMO Mtec 501's are much better!

my friend has led in his cars and when i put the mtecs in and he saw the difference he was raging as the mtecs were better and went out and bought a set for his lol

I too belive that the number plate bulbs are ok to be leds.

I bought Leds for my headlights and they set off the warnings so I put them in the rear number plate light and they were fine

i had them then took them out was doing my nut in the m-tec's are better, the leds worked fine but when turned off they used to pulse e.g flash for a while

there was a member a few weeks ago that had LED number plate bulbs and had no problem
