Default Chrome Foglight surrounds,, verdict on the best way to do it?...

    Hi All

I've just picked up my chrome (Pre-facelift) foglight surrounds. I have seen lots of threads on how to fit them, either removing the bumper or doing it without removing the bumper. I was just wondering what we all think is ultimately the best way of doing it... I'vehad a quick look at my bumper tnite and a few of the clips look damaged, like they either wont cmoe off easy, OR will get totally chewed up and will never go back... Is it possible to do it without removing bumper??

    THanks
    Pete

if you have a petrol then you have no belly pan so it is do-able with the bumper on, just be prepared to get scratched hand's... if it's a diesel them bumper off is easier....tbh bumper of in 10 min's or so and new fixing's are pence from vx...i took my bumper off as it is so much easier to see all 3 fog light fixing's...

Are there specific fixings worth getting. I have to remove my facelift bumper soon to fit VXR grills to my CDTi. Handy to have fixings to hand for a few quid and save any hassle.
