    Default astra play time again....

a broken head light bulb in the driver's side head light caused me to do this today......
after a full strip down of one headlight to remove the broken bulb i decided to have a play with them both....

tinted the chrome just a little bit...

then colour coded the chrome outer surround..

    so from this....

    to this...

i think the final result is awsome and it look's soooooooo much better now...

That colour coded chrome outer surround looks soooo much better!

Is tinting, albeit slightly, the actual reflector not going to reduce the efficiency/brightness of the headlights?

thought about that but after putting them together with them still chrome they looked a little out of place, so just a little tint applied and they seem ok for now, will go and test them in a while when it get's a bit darker...

Hopefully it won't affect it too much then.
