    Default Gearknobs that fall off..

just an update, had mine replaced under warranty yesterday, my local stealer would not do anything (interior/over 12 mths old) so I rang another dealer who kindly accepted that it was a fault (not damaged by me) & replaced it . (did have to go thought VX as I wanted an upgrade) so for everyone else who has/had the same problem chase it up & get it replaced!

if its out of warranty I would try the superglue trick or buy an irmy one as the original on mine to replace is £176, VXR one is £218 (both prices without VAT!)

mine pops off on a hot day. surely it's easier just to bond/glue it on than mess about replacing them? you could probably even use some tissue to bulk out the spline slightly and make it a tighter fit... good for those who might want to replace their knob down the line lol!

Mine used to come off all the time as well, just but some threadlock on it and hit it back on, leave to dry overnight and no more problems.
