yeah those wires usually become hard and break easily...best way to no which wheel is to cross the wires one wheel at a time till light stays off
ok cheers mate so do i join the wires to gether
so have all these wheels got brake sensors
yeah every wheel join the two wires one wheel at a time then check the light youll no which wheel the problems in cause the light will go out
Only fitted 2nearside on most models, although certain models do have them on both front wheels, its very easy 2strip and join these wires,n then no light on
nearside bein the passanger side bit thick with stuuf like that lol so just cut the wire and join them
Just to clarify and correct some misinformation in some posts above.
There is only one wheel that has the brake pad sensor wire on it, and that's the front nearside (passenger side). No models ever had both front wheels that had the sensors, and certainly none ever came with it on all four wheels.
Facelift models lost the pad sensor feature completely.
Paul - as already said above, if your pads are looking fine then it's probably the sensor wire starting to disintegrate. Options are either fit a new sensor wire - they're less than a tenner - or cut the end where it goes into the pads and twist them around each other if you don't want to replace the sensor wire.
