Default should i break my gsi or sell?

ive been offered around £2000 for my car as dealers only take book price into concideration, not how it is. so should i take the £2000, or break it for the parts? would i stand to make more by doing so? advise and comments welcome, cheers

What ya looking at getting in its place??? That grill will fetch a fair amount.

You would make more than 2k from breaking tho. Its just a slow process

I have a feeling you would get more for parts than you would for the complete vehicle.
I'm assuming it's the one in your avatar and if it is, unfortunately by changing it away from 'standard' you will have limited the resale market for it. In standard form it might have appealed to the full age/lifestyle range. In 'modified' form it'll really only appeal to people like yourself or 'younger lads/lasses' looking for a bit of 'bling'.
Dealers will be looking at their chances of shifting it and if like many, they offer vehicles 'with warranty', their warranty provider is far less likely to accept risk on a 'non-standard' vehicle.
The parts however, will readily appeal to many of the mass of 'modders' found in sites/clubs not unlike Vectra-C.com, especially those wishing to upgrade a more basic trim model.

At a rough guess you could possibly break most of that £2000 just with the wheels, Irmscher pack parts, leather interior and a few other bits!

if you have the time space and can afford to wait for the cash then breaking would be a good idea imo...ps how much for the leather interior...lol
