Don't bother . buy new from VX. if you buy on ebay then get a blade ,then get it lazer cut. Then get it coded . If you buy new one the blade is already in the key and cut. You may find someone local to you who uses this site to program the key to your car .

The link i gave was to some one who does the same as what the stealers do at a fraction of the cost
You give them your key number like you would do at VX and they code key and fit blade.

Its on your security card you get with your car,its normally in your car wallet a small credit sized card with all your security numbers on it.
If you havent got one you will have to go to the stealers and ask them to order you one iirc £15-20 you will need your log book and ID

Thats where it all goes t--- up.
Had a big fall out with the local stealers [jct600] when i had a vec b 2.2 petrol and needed the cam chain and oil jets replacing and they banned me from going in there after i had a big argument with a monkey on the desk.

Any vauxhall garage can get you the codes as long as you have the log book
You need the codes no matter what route you take in getting a key all so if you want to add any thing to your car eg:HU or Screen so its best to have it
