    Default scraping noise with brakes

    hi recently i have heard a very slight scraping noise when i press my brakes i know its not the front one because i just had new disks and pads done on the front .the back pads need replaced is this noise them? i thought the back brakes where only a hand brake, do they come on when i press the brake pedal also

    they do indeed come on when u press the brake... the rears on the vecs tend to wear faster than the fronts..

    Have a look at them and get them changed before u do any damage to ur discs etc

    there is a slight lip on the disc will this wear down when i put on new pads or will i need new disks also?

    The lip on the disc will stay. If you can chip off a piece with your fingers you definitely have to buy new disks too...at least that's what I did with my Vec B

    Whoever changes your pads may chap the lip off with a small hammer it may me worth mentioning to them.
