Recently just bought my Vectra estate and didn't get a full franchise vallet.

Previous owner had a dog, so bought some autoglym interior car shampoo and cleaned the entire interior and roof lining. When leaving to penetrate and evenly distribute I had left some overspray on the interior windows. All soft areas where applied are dog free and gleaming, but the autoglym hardened onto the glass surface and now for the love of him upstairs I cannot get it off.

Worse still when going through these british storms on the M6, my windscreen misted up so badly during the quick temperature changes I was struggling with the mit to keep it in a safe condition. (previously had a ford with a heated front screan)

I have tried water, fabric spot remover, windex, the same autoglym car shampoo, muck off, matt dash etc.

For my own safety and personal pride can anyone recomend a substance to aid me in my search for a clean and safe motor?

Thanks Jez
