    Default rear brake rewind tool

    hi all

    i just bought the laser tool 1314 and adapter 4057 to do my rear brakes and the adapter is totally the wrong one even thou advertised as being for vectra has anyone had the same problem ?? and know what the correct adapter is for the rears

    just spoke to laser tools technical and they saying adapter 3104 will fit the later vectra even thou its not listed anywhere as being for the vectra or saab 93 (4mm pins and 20mm centres)

    Your other option - if you can and want to return the kit you have now - is the one below.

    I had the same problem - I ended up cutting the pins off, drilling and tapping two holes the correct distance apart, and fitting a couple of cut down bolts as new pins.

    Yes, some hassle, but at 19:30 in the evening, in the middle of the country, with the car on axle stands...........

    same problem here just got the grider out and knibbed the pins down from the outside in a bit at a time till it fitted .....job done

    Found the same one on Ebay, a bit cheaper..

    This is the one i purchased and it did the job..HTH
