Infrared Headphones

Are they generic, will they work on all makes of screen? Just bought a flip down screen and it had built in infrared for headphone. Halfrauds have a set for £14, so if plug and play as such I think that's quite a good price?

Would have thought so Steve, I tried a different pair with the Vauxhall supplied kit and they worked OK. Halfords are normally OK with taking things back if they don't work so should be ok.

I have a pair here (vauxhall ones) if you want to try them before buying.

Thanks for the offer Paul, Its going to be a while till its all wired in as i'm keeping my stock HU and putting a DVD/CD HU in the tray under the heater controls, this should give me a twin audio stet up. The DVD/CD wont be connected to the speakers only the screen or headphones. If I want to put the Audio through the speakers i'll put it through my FM modulator.

Came across VX set up for £200 the other day from that link you sent me, but already bought the stuff ive got. Does it even fit in a vecs roof lining with them being counter sunk?

Is it your mate that bought pacarcher's old estate? Seen it at Makro yesterday, got to say its a lovely looking car.
