    Thumbs up Mod your garage!

After replacing our Citroen Xsara Estate with the Vectra Estate, I soon discovered our new car is a pretty thight fit in our garage. Either I parked to close to the rear wall, and didn't manage to open the boot, or I parked to close to close the garage door. And of course my wife, bully me, since she is better than me to precision park (hard to admit, but it's true).
After a few beers in the garage the other night, I found a tennisball, attached a thin rope to it, and attached the rope to the ceiling.
Cheap/free, and makes it very easy to park with a few cm's precision, even when reversing, by using mirrors

That's an idea! My neighbours cat is a really ugly cat, full of louse and scars, indicates all over our car, and we (both us and our neighbor) has tried to kill the ******* with no luck. Maybe the ******* finally can come to use
Hmm... Maybe I "incidental" tell the idea when we have the annual summerparty in our garden with our bikerfriends...

I have even less room. Excuse the quality of the pictures. I line up the nearside mirror with one of the mortar lines. I even have to fold in the drivers door mirror as it would hit the door stays.

    Vectra Estate = 4830mm

    Length of garage = 5000mm

The garage is only 170mm longer than the car, hence the old quilt cover fixed to the rear wall!!
