    Default Weekend Detail

I had a job over the weekend (which still isn't quite finished). I had a Mitsubishi Delica to do a full detail and correction on. And the paint was in a bad way (LOADS of swirls ). Here was the process so far:

    - Alloys cleaned with Berry Cherry wheel cleaner and agitated
    - Sprayed bonnet, front of car and lower sides with PB Bug Squash and Tar Remover and agitated
    - Whole car was snowfoamed including arches and agitated
    - Left for 10 minutes then full rinse
    - Washed using 2 bucket method with CG Citrus Wash & Gloss
    - Full rinse and dried using large waffle drying towel
    - Clayed using some medium strength clay and Dodo Juice Born Slippy
    - Quick wash (2 buckets), rinse and dry again using waffle towel

The results of this are below, ready for the correction

Now the car was ready for the correction.... Got the rotary out again and went for Polishing pad and CG All-In-One Polish and gave it a couple of hits on a small section and here is a 50/50 for you

So I went with this for now and here is the bonnet done (bonnet isn't in brilliant shape, there is some orange peeling on it but I did what I could)

Seeing as the bonnet went well the rest of the car was masked up and ready.

And..............the finished article to follow hehehe

Looking good. Is the paint hard? I would like to see some pics of you doing that roof.

Put a few coats of black wow on that back mirror when you are done.

    Can't wait for the afters.

Nope paint is actually quite soft (Japanese).

Haha, I couldn't. I used SRP on the roof instead (there is more glass than paint on the roof anyways.)

The car got a coat of FK1000P last night before the sun went down and I shall be finishing her off tonight got the windows, chrome, blacks, alloys to seal, tires, door shuts etc....., with more pics
