    Inside or out?

If it's inside then it's sometimes a sign that your heater matrix is leaking.

Check to see if your having to top up your coolant frequently.

    HTH

    Paul.

    Sorry, don't do Fords butty!

Clean out the washer bottle and pipes with some hot water and refill it with a decent washer fluid, but not too much.

Sounds like there could have been some dodgy screen additive in the bottle or even Fairy Liquid that's causing the grease.

Put some new blades on too and a decent glass cleaner.

    Paul.

Acetone removes any type of grease but will also eat any trim around the screen.
