    Default Is 6 to 7 degrees C ok for air con temp

    All, just had my aircon regassed and it is now 6 to 7 Degrees C with aircon on (with a temp probe in the front vent) does this sound about correct??

    It would be very comfortable in the hot weather. I don,t think I have had mine that low though.

    sounds good mate, land rover officially recommend 5c or lower for all their cars so 6 or 7 is perfect!!!

    thought it was supposed be -2 when the AC was working properly?

    Depends on the outside temperature I suppose - but as long as you're happy with the temp of the air that comes out then the actual temperature is meaningless...

    Had mine down to 4c with recirc flap closed and fan setting 1 after having run aircon at fan setting 3 for a while, as far as I know mine has never been regassed either since new!!

    Never seen the vent temperature drop below 9 degrees when the AC is set at 19 degrees.

    But by the time it's got down to 9 degrees the temperature in the car has started to fall rapidly and the fan speed starts to decrease.

    Maybe if the AC was set at minimum the vent temperature would go lower.
